Dear Wellness Seekers,

Spanista Question: What Are Your Joyful Dreams?

Spanista wants to inspire you because Dreams Do Not Work Unless You Do. What does this mean? To me it means investing time on internal topics that guide how we want to live our lives in joyful spirit. It is about taking steps to not allow our jobs or kids or schedule to steer our lives where in we move through day to day life on auto pilot with no time invested in seeing the big picture and where you are in the grand scheme of things. Making Self Care a priority means devoting proper time to yourself and exploring your ever-changing needs and guiding your life accordingly to achieve true wellbeing and peace of mind.

So today, I have three questions for you to consider and reflect upon:

1. What are your dreams for the future?

2. Do you have a clear view of the most important one?

3. Does the most important one stretch you beyond your comfort zone?

May I suggest it is worth spending some time pondering the difference between happiness and joy. This deeper wisdom of the heart enlightens us to understand that happiness, while welcome as good hits of positive emotion that enrich our lives are however are fleeting moments of time. Because happiness does not last – it comes and goes. Joyfulness however, is a state of mind one can acquire and sustain as a level of contentedness and peace that raises the equality of our loves from day to day. Joyfulness is a positively potent lens to see the world through.

To open up your internal conversation – Begin by creating your own Personal Joy List. Writing a list of ways you can trigger positive, joyful feelings, can open up a new world. Note this list should not be about acquiring materials things. If possible, try to push beyond the materials things. Odds are the list will composed of less tangibles to be more relational. Try to write down at least 10 things that bring you joy, and then strive to prioritize to the top three. Seek ways to shift your lifestyle to align with these three joy values into your life on a daily basis. There is no better time than the current moment to live a joyful life. I could not see living any other way.

Spanista’s Question: What Are Your Joyful Dreams? Dreams Do Not Work Unless You Do means focusing on you first. Spanista’s can share from experience, the seeds I planted in the past through my thoughts and prayers on my Three Joyful Essentials have come to fruition. As time changes things externally, in 2015 I plant new seeds of positive possibilities internally. I sow ideas of abundance, and love, to cultivate feelings of joy, prosperity, and appreciation. As I live fully in the present moment, I am continually blessed.

Now that 2015 is in the swing, this is a great time to ask: What are your Joyful Dreams?

To Your Self Care Journey To Joy,

Ginny
